    Abstract

This paper specifically presents the main operating
    characteristics of a Brushless A2212/13t
motor, compared with the power consumption
of a traditional dc motor in order to demonstrate
the advantages of Brushless motors (BLDC)
over conventional dc motors, although it works
with a specific reference of a Brushless motor,
the results can be extrapolated in general since
the principles of operation are the same in both
dc and BLDC motors, At the end of the document
the performance of the motors described
is evaluated taking into account the voltage, current
and power required to stabilize each of the
motors without load in order to demonstrate the
efficiency of Brushless motors and encourage
    their implementation in future projects.
A pwm signal is experimented with and sent to
the esc controller board by varying the pulse width
of the useful cycle to generate a change in
motor speed and establish the relationship between
pulse width and current in an unloaded
    brushless motor.
