La relación entre Estados Unidos y América Latina en la era Trump: un camino de sombras e incertidumbre

Abstract

In this article the history of the United States foreign policy towards Latin America is reviewed, and suggests, from a constructivist approach, some changes that could take place with the presidency of Donald Trump. Likewise, the paper describes migrations as a social phenomenon that has evolved since the 1970’ and has caused the pillars of US identity to be modified because of, among other things, the exacerbation of security measures. As a conclusion, the expectations from international relations are pointed out.
