    Abstract

This article argues that, through oblivion, an alternative can be founded to understand, criticize and question the scenarios of a moral society, which is permanently nourished by memory, but a tragic one. Its tragedy consists of the permanent production of moral judgments as a mediating element that dehumanize the existence of the human being, pretending that this human being is projected into the future, thus denying life itself. To carry out this purpose, the critical position of authors such as Walter Benjamin and Friedrich Nietzsche are taken; however, there are references from other authors that strengthen the arguments of this paper. For this reason, from the development of canonical concepts, is that we can account for the criticism of modern society, permanently.
