    Abstract

Colombia approached through several negotiations to an end to the conflict on several occasions in 2016, until it reached an agreement for a “Stable and Lasting Peace” as a result of more than four years of negotiations with FARC-EP. However, as evidenced by the result of the plebiscite for the endorsement of the agreements with this guerrilla group, Colombia retains great social and political culture liabilities related to structural and cultural violence, which prevent the transition to a reconciled society with the capacity for management and conflict resolution, oriented towards the construction of territorial peace and the consolidation of a peace culture.

Colombian society lacks a dynamic and robust public policy of reconciliation, from the local and territorial levels to the national level, thus preventing the different sectors from coming together in peace-building dynamics, aimed at advancing on the road to national reconciliation.

Based on this panorama, this article seeks to answer the question: What territorial factors can contribute to the construction on Colombia’s reconciliation? For this reason, it illustrates how the territorial dynamics contribute elements in the construction of national reconciliation.
