Volver al futuro. Pautas para una interpretación de la visualidad hoy a partir de pensar las tecnologías de la visión de comienzos del siglo XIX

Abstract

 This article provides an overview about the importance of reviewing the techniques, development of technologies and studies of vision in the early 19th century to understand the historical transformation of the observer and the changes in social relations that followed these events. Likewise, it takes some ideas from the Anthropology of Images to draw questions about the incidence of the practices of vision for constructing the social subject at the same time that gives account of how this study can draw strategies to interpret the contemporary relation between picture, medium and body.
